My father’s passion for this community drove his decision to remain in South Florida to receive world-class care at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He was proud two of South Florida’s iconic organizations – the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami – teamed up in his honor to fight cancer.
The DCC contributes 100% of participant-raised funds to Sylvester. That means you can be sure the money you raise is going to where it is needed the most – innovative cancer research translated into the best possible treatment. In the first five years of the DCC, $11.55 million has been donated to Sylvester.
This year, we’re fighting cancer at a whole new level and with multiple events. With your help, it is our goal to raise $5.75 million for DCC VI. You can ride or run in honor of my father, your father, your mother or loved one who is battling this disease right now. Whatever the motivation and whatever the reason, we cannot thank you enough for helping us tackle cancer.
I invite you to join Team Mad Dog. Together, we will vigorously fight in South Florida until there is a cure for cancer.
