Once you access your personal fundraising page, use your dashboard to monitor your fundraising activity, share your page on social media and much more! From the main menu, you can access sections that will help you manage your fundraising efforts. You can view your donor list and team members (if you belong to a team), send out email campaigns to generate donations and edit your personal fundraising page. You can share your public page via text messaging or email, promote your fundraising efforts on Facebook or Twitter, or see you latest donations and other important information on your DCC VI fundraising.
The most successful way to receive donations for your ride is outreach to family & friends through emails and consistent follow-up. Through haku, you can send as many email campaigns as you want. Studies show that the most successful fundraisers reach out to at least 60 people when sending out emails seeking donations.
Use social media to let your network know that you are riding in the DCC. In Promote, you can share your fundraising efforts. If you post your fundraising page from the dashboard on Facebook or Twitter, donations are tracked and you know how effective your post was. Be sure to use the hashtags #CancerFighter and #TackleCancer!
Make your profile page personal. Include a photo that has meaning and write a message explaining why you are participating in the DCC. Are you riding in memory of someone? Have you been personally affected by cancer? What are your personal goals? Your profile is an easy opportunity to share your goals with friends, family, and other riders.
Registration and donations are a piece of cake, especially now that everything is mobile friendly! Communicate with donors, share your fundraising page and edit your public page all from your mobile device. You no longer have to log into a computer to send your friends and family an invitation to support your fundraising efforts. Simply log-in to your fundraising account from your phone and share your fundraising page easily.
As a team captain, your account has additional features to help you manage your team. You can invite new members as well as edit your team’s fundraising public page.
